Great news - The Southend Pier Winter Opening Hours will be temporarily revised during February Half Term!
The Pier will be open daily, all week from Monday 14 - Sunday 20 February, 10:15am - 6pm (last entry at 5pm), usual admission charges will apply. The perfect opportunity to explore the full length of the Pier this half term! The normal Southend Pier Winter Operating Hours will continue as usual following Sunday 20 February and we will be opening Wednesday - Sundays, 10:15am - 6pm (last entry at 5pm).
Late Night Openings for Southend LuminoCity Festival of Light:
Even more great news - the 'House of Cards' Southend LuminoCity art installation will be on display at the old bowling alley site from Wednesday 16 - Saturday 19 February. The Visitor Information Centre and the main walkway gates will additionally be open to the public from 6pm - 10pm, Wednesday 16 - Saturday 19 February to visit 'House of Cards'. Please note during this time there will no access to the pier walkway or trains, only the art installation area and the Visitor Information Centre will be open.
Admission charges will apply during usual Pier opening hours, but access will be free of charge to the art installation area 6pm to 10pm, Wednesday 16 - Saturday 19 February, for the Southend LuminoCity event. Find more details about Southend LuminoCity here.
