Getting Here by RoadThe A127 (from North) and A13 (from South) link Southend to the M25. Once in Southend, numerous brown tourist signs direct you towards the seafront and the Pier.

ParkingThere is no parking at Southend Pier. Cars may drop passengers off at the drop off point at the West entrance to Southend Pier, next to Adventure Island. There is ample parking along the seafront and in the town centre, with bays for disabled parking.

Getting Here by RailTwo rail lines run between London and Southend - Fenchurch Street to Southend Central (c2c Rail) and Liverpool Street to Southend Victoria (Greater Anglia). Journey time on both lines is approximately 45 minutes and both stations are a short walk down the High Street to the Pier.

Getting Here by BusFirst Essex run a number of services to and from Southend Travel Centre every 15-30 minutes. Services to catch: 20, 21, 21A, 21B, 23, 24, 25, 25A, 26, 27A, 28 For timetable information visit the First Essex website.

International VisitorsSouthend Airport: Southend Airport is the closest airport to Southend Pier, the quickest route is by car and it’s only 5 miles away! Gatwick Airport: From Gatwick Airport you can take a Gatwick Express train to Victoria Station, from here you take a District Line underground train to Tower Hill and then change at Tower Hill for the C2C line to Southend Central. Southend Central station is located within a 5 minute walking distance from the Pier. Heathrow Airport: From Heathrow Airport, you can take the underground on the Piccadilly Line to South Kensington Station, from here take the District line to Barking, and from Barking you can take the C2C line train to Southend Central. If you are coming from Heathrow Airport by car, follow the M25 to Southend Arterial Road/A127 and take exit 29. From here you continue on the A127 to Western Esplanade.
