Plaice
Plaice are colorful flatfish known for their bright orange spots on a brown body. They are found on sandy seabeds in the Thames Estuary, where they feed on worms and shellfish. Plaice are a favorite among anglers and are often caught using bait like ragworms or lugworms. Their orange spots help distinguish them from other flatfish like flounder or dab.
