Garfish
Garfish are long, slender fish with a sharp, needle-like snout and green-tinted bones. They swim near the surface and feed on small fish and crustaceans. Garfish are occasionally seen near Southend Pier, particularly during the warmer months. Their unique shape and swift movements make them exciting to spot for keen observers.
