We are very excited to share news of the arrival of the first brand new eco-friendly pier train! A special morning delivery arrived bright and early on Tuesday 28th September 2021.
The first carriage made it's way to the pier workshop and was moved by a telehandler to reach the track!
The team have been working hard to ensure the safe placement of the brand-new train carriages.
The train is not open to the public just yet due to training and safety checks currently taking place. The current diesel train is still in service to reach the end of the pier for now!
Next to arrive was the goods train. Which has been placed in the middle of the carriages.
