The penguins are here!

Southend-on-Sea has welcomed a vibrant huddle of penguins this summer: Waddle-on-Sea, created by Havens Hospices in partnership with Wild in Art!

The trail features 31 large penguin sculptures alongside 72 baby sculptures, all dotted across Southend-on-Sea and Leigh-on-Sea.

The sculptures are displayed in a variety of locations, including Southend’s high street, our pier and seafront and the characterful streets of Leigh, bringing splashes of colour and creativity to the city until Wednesday 3 September.

You’ll be able to support Havens Hospices by purchasing a map from our Visitor Information Centre, or downloading the Waddle-on-Sea app.
