Ho, Ho, Ho, Santa is returning to Southend Pier this festive season!

Book your little one’s ticket for a magical experience like no other. Children and one accompanying adult will be whisked down to the end of the Pier by pier train where you will meet Santa and his merry band of helpers.

Santa’s elves will let you know when Santa is ready to see you. Once you’ve had your visit with the man himself, you’ll head to his toyshop to pick your own special present!

Tickets are non-refundable.

1. What does the visit to Santa include?

Tickets are priced at £20 per child. Your child will have the opportunity to meet Santa in person, in the unique setting of Southend Pier. Children will receive a small gift from the toyshop. The ticket includes a train ride for the child and one accompanying adult (extra adults can purchase a train ticket on the day) a visit with Santa and a present of the child’s choice.

All children wanting to see Santa and receive a present must have their own ticket.

2. How often are the time slots for Santa?

Visits are divided into 30-minute time slots and there are 6 tickets available per time slot. If your ticket time is for the 10:30am train, then you will see Santa between 10:45am and 11:15am along with the other ticket holders in that time slot. Children will visit Santa individually or as a family (each child will require a ticket and accompanying adult), not with the other ticket holders.

3. When should I arrive to meet Santa?

Please make sure you allow plenty of time to arrive before your scheduled booking slot. We recommend that you arrive at the Pier no later than 10 minutes before your pre-booked train time.

Please note: due to the number of visits we need to accommodate, late arrivals will not be admitted.

4. What age is the visit to Santa suitable for?

The visit to Santa is ideally suited for children between 3 – 10 years of age. Families are welcome to bring younger children along, but they will not receive a gift unless an individual ticket is purchased for them. 

5. Once booked can I change the time or day of the visit or have my ticket refunded?

No, unfortunately we are unable to change the date or time of the visit once booked. To avoid any disappointment, we would ask that before completing the purchase of tickets you are confident in being able to fulfil your booking.

Tickets are non-refundable and refunds will only be given if the event is cancelled.

6. What happens in extreme weather?

Please note that in the event of adverse weather conditions and/or no pier train service, the Santa experience will take place at the shore end of the Pier. 

7. What is your Covid-19 policy?

In response to Government guidelines regarding Covid-19, this event may be cancelled at short notice. Should this situation occur, ticket holders will be notified, and a full refund will be provided. If anyone in your party has symptoms of or has tested positive for Covid-19 please do not attend the event. Thank you for your understanding.
